Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hoping for some help. Logged in yesterday and all my characters were there. But logged in today and one of my characters was no longer in the select list. I definitely did not RCR her or delete the char and no one has access to my account info. Any ideas?

Account name gh1. Character name was Furiosa (no last name)

edit to add: No one has access to my computer either and I have never used the appearance changer on this character.

Same thing has occurred for me just now. Account is vbaddict and the character is Pug Pebblestomp.

Sometimes this is the result of server lag and the character selection screen doesn't quite load properly. Sometimes waiting fixes it (the list will self-populate when the lag catches up), sometimes you have to relog and try again.

For those that are losing characters on reset, I had the same issue last week. What I had done was use a disguise name on my character, and the disguise name was still on when the server reset.
It was able to be fixed, but make certain you return your character to original name when you log or before reset, just in case.

Interesting, this gives me an idea...

Edit: Ha, this was the clue I needed! From now on we can recover our lost characters without bothering the staff. Those that experience this problem have 2 characters with the same name saved when the server crashes. Just log into the name that is serving double duty. Disguise yourself with some other temporary name and log out. When you connect again the double duty name will be there along with your new temporary name.

Hello o/ I've got exact same problem, with the difference that my character was recovered few days ago. Character name is 'Rowan', login handle is 'AngryAngryHippo'.
