Corpse disappears

I've seen this happen to several people. Corpse simply vanishes into thin air before someone can grab it, with no apparent reason.

It happened again to me today. Party could not find my corpse where I had died. One member told me to relog. My corpse appear where it should have, and they recovered it. Upon setting the corpse down to raise.... it vanished again.

Once more they told me to relog, but it did not appear where the corpse was dropped. While I sit here waiting in the Fugue, the party is fighting their way back to where I died... in hopes it will be there, or reappear there, on a relog.

This this is making all involved extremely frustrated.

Yeah, had that happen also.
Carried the corpse (overburdened) to a safe place, dropped him -> *poof* gone.
After a relog, i found the corpse back where he died before.

This gets even better. So I was eventually rescued. They managed to find the corpse and raise me. Saved, I felt I had had enough game play for a while. The update was fairly soon anyway, so I logged out.

Now I'm in the Fugue all over again. Only option is for XP loss.

This is getting even worse. I managed to contact DM Hera from Fugue while in game. They said they were busy doing an event, but to simply take the XP hit, screenshot and they would come fix me in about an hour. I took screenshots of the conversation, and screenshot the 2000 XP hit. They must have logged for the night, as I couldn't contact them about an hour later.

Off I went to grind back some XP. Eventually the server reset again, and I log in to the Nexus. The whole thing is starting over again, and Mystra wants to send me to Myrkul...........

I logged out for the night, as obviously my character is broken, I'm stuck in a Fugue-loop, and down 2000 XP so far.

Please ask a DM to fix you, Vogar. I'll PM the team as well. They may need to kill you and raise you themselves to reset the death script.

There's also one other thing they can do if that doesn't work.

We hope to have some of the death system issues fixed with our next update, thanks to Valefort's continued heroic efforts with our complex death-and-respawn system.

I died while in a party yesterday and two party members cast res spells on me causing me to bug out, I was then alive but in the Fugue, Myrkul sent me back to the realms with xp penalty even though I was alive?
