I was thinking more center Neutral alignment?

I guess it depends on what his next big move is.

An argument could be made for neutral good as well. Will do whatever to save himself but not generally at the expense of others. Willing to use his abilities to the betterment of his community. Seems to be of moral character though. Definitely will depend on what he does next.
