AFKing in mid-dialogue

Little reminder, if you are going AFK, please do not go afk when talking to certain NPCs. Moreover, don't go AFK when talking to Mystra and Azure who are responsible for sending players back into the known world. Today, I ran into someone who went AFK in dialogue with Mystra. If Azure weren't one of the NPCs who sends you back into the game, that person would have prevent people from in the game. If you have something important to do either don't approach the NPC or click through dialogue as quickly as possible so other players can get the NPC attention. Thank you for your patience.

You can bump them away from said NPC until the conversation breaks due to range, and then keep on bumping them until they fall off the edge of the map, or at least I wish they would!

It is possible for some people to have so much latency on their end that they were unaware they were in the way. Sometimes in a bad connection it can a full minute or more for the convo to pop on the players screen.

Well I have tried it over a dozen times in the past half decade or so and it has never worked. All the way to the farthest edge each and every time. I will only talk to mystra and this has left me Nexus stranded for many hours. Not sure how it works for you but I'd love to know what you do differently.

We put in the second Nexus entrance NPC (Shaundakul) to prevent these sorts of situations -- but if both are "blocked," your best bet would be to shoot the DMs a PM letting them know. There's usually someone around, if not in game, who can come help.
