RP Areas: Housing

While I know that setting up an apartment system here and that private citizens do not get to buy housing, which is ok because that could end up with a mass of private areas all over.
However, I would love to see some RP areas that are houses and such, a few in each town, that people could RP "renting" or something, and RP a more long term housing situation. Not everyone has access to guilds with rooms and such, and while living in inns is all convenient, there's no real sense of "permanent" to it.
Right now, the only two "residences" I can find are the two in the East Gate district, one of which has an NPC child in it. I've seen these get a fair amount of traffic for alternate uses from different parties.
If we had a couple like this in the Harbor, and palace district, as well in Beregost, Soubar, Nashkel, Ulgoth's Beard, without NPC, I think it would open up new RP options. People could have parties with friends over, smaller more intimate and private than having dinner with friends at the nearby tavern. Could be places for relaxation with a small group of friends with less fear of people eavesdropping, etc.
Not massive places, really... but a couple rooms, kitchen, etc. Stuff houses would have as appropriate to the area they're in. But without NPCs floating about.
