could you put it to 85 + like yesterday ?

I'll bump it up to 80. I hesitate to go much higher as it does put pressure on the server and its stability when there are so many people on. We may raise it higher still if necessary, but crashes become a lot more likely when we start ramping up that memory use.

What is smooth about transitions taking minutes. (That starts at ~60 people on)

if you have Nvidia graphics... maybe you want to Kill those process
- NvBackend.exe
- NvNetworkService.exe
- nvstreamsvc.exe (this one comes usually in 3)

I saw that it comes at certain time to grind all the internet...

if those process are killed.. then transitions are fast ^_^

Does this work? If so I need to give this a shot next time I go to play when the server is filling up!

go see network.... and when your internet works what do you find... 100% time when a game is running... surprise... those process in your network and you see the TCP gets to almost 500 kbp at peek of the process grind...

also... when you kill process... always kill process tree

I think NVidia collect information for user experiance since their last driver update but... it can get disturbing when you need those FPS in a shooter game like Tribes ascend... my ping would be about 120 if I keep them running and be unstable from 60 to 180 ... when I kill those process I talked about... my ping stay stable from 20 to 30


PS.:
if you Run command prompt
- Netstat -?
to see command list
then chose the one you need

you can find all connections that even ressource monitor don't display btw if you want to adventure further... and maybe find anythig else that grind your internet ^_^

and killing those processes don't have a negative impact on keeping you in game? Or on graphics or anything?
