Kobold Ruins Statue

Unread post by keronian »

So, I don't think the statue in the Kobold Ruins is working right... I've talked to a lot of folks about it and nobody seems to be able to answer why this isn't working...

I have four black pearls in inventory, I used a Fox's Cunning potion to boost my INT so I can decipher the inscription, but it doesn't let me explicitly try the pearl.
If it's not a bug, it should be. It's driving me nuts, knowing what I have to do and not being able to do it.

A traditional PnP party of fighter, thief, mage and cleric can solve all of the puzzles. That's all I'll say. 8-)

So, given what I know about these statues...

This one would be the "mage" one. I brought a friend along who's a mage, and she wasn't able to put the black pearl in the eye socket either.

I solved the adventure back in feburary. By then it was all fine. I did it with my lvl 18 Rogue/Wizard, so had lots of skill points and can't tell you which one you need specificly to add the pearl. But I am sure a different skill was used for the implementation of the pearl than for being able to decipher it.
