Blushing Mermaid Basement Flails

The halfling in the basement of Blushing Mermaid sells some epic flails. These weapons are light, so they are not the stock NWN2 flails.
Therefore, if I buy one, will it benefit from Weapon Focus (Flail) or Weapon Focus (Short Sword)? My foggy memory recalls something about these off-hand flails being made with shortsword weapon blueprints...
So, just seeking some clarification!

I think it is WF: Short Sword, but next time I am able to log in game I will see if a DM is available to help me test on a QC character.

No, weapenfocus and weaponspez. Flail works with these light flails

Do you have a character with the feats and the weapons? I think I've read a post of yours pointing into that direction?

I was told by someone with the flail feats, that the 'shortsword' flails do NOT function with said feats. This was a player from about 4 months ago, cannot remember the name but the conversation came up because he'd spent a good sum and they did not work.

i just logged and looked at my old flailer before i posted before - so yeah a flail is a Flail.

The QC room doesn't have flails so I need to wait for a time when a DM happens to be in game with me. I tried yesterday, but got pulled in to a work call before one of the DM's was able to hop in game and when I got back they had to log out. I haven't forgot about it.

Mind posting a screenshot showing AB with a flail equipped vs. some other finesse weapon as well as your feat list? I think the issue is that another poster is saying he was told Flail feats do not work with flail so others were just looking for confirmation. While I tend to trust the word of an actual player with the feats moreso than what another player heard it would be helpful to have definitive screenshots showing the flail gaining the benefit of Weapon Focus: Flail.
