How the hell does your game run so smooth? Mine runs like crap, and I have a high end system.

I have a desktop with an i7 4790K and a GTX 1070 and my framerate sucks. It sucks on my laptop too, GTX 960M 4GB + i7 6700 HQ
I get 60FPS on Battlefield 1 at Ultra @ 2k resolution, but NWN hovers between 25-30 FPS at it's best. I always just assumed the game didn't run well on modern systems.
It's not unplayable, but it isn't good. It has even persisted through reformatting. I can only assume it is some kind of setting I have on.

Im so glad im not the only one that takes 10 years to load into the maps XD. As for the fps I get a solid 30-40 except in certain spots in certain areas where my fps drops to like 15 Q~Q its so gross.

I dont use any interface mods...You can drag the chat windows and the hot bars you can add in options menu.
Also if you dont want to frame turn Shadows of it helps a great deal for me.

When I get home I will look at my settings and see which ones aren't set to max.
I have a high end system as well, but mine runs pretty smooth, even with 20 different things running at the same time. IRC I am looking at you!

Which is why you should play NWN2 with a potato.

I approve of the hardcore roleplaying there, Face.

Hopefully his little halfling heart stopped beating so fast after a few minutes hiding in the bushes.
