That's not a Cleric though (well real Cleric).

The only issue with Cleric DD is the chance of getting dispelled. If you take practice spell caster feat, you can get up to 4 DD then without risk at level 30. I'm not an expert on Clerics on nwn2. Mines mostly PnP and outdated nwn1 Cleric knowledge lol. I'll bow to the experts.

You likely already know about the Dwarven gods, but my signature has a link to them with BG/nwn2 information added as well. Like what Domains you can pick here, and special weapons, and 1ed era/pre TOT restrictions (mostly having to do with gender), and the like.

You can get down to 27-28 CL without significant issue.

The Evasion in full plate is on a list to be fixed so i would advise to make builds that dont use this perk, so no expose weakness.

Dwarven Defender does not grant you spellcasting progression. It is the first hurdle to overcome.

However, A Cleric 13 (Qualifies for Hierophant)/Dwarven Defender 7 (Gets you +3 Dodge AC and 5 uses of defensive stance)/Hierophant 10 (Defensive stance x4 and improved defense III) can get you caster level 30 cleric.

Dwarven Defender requires feats Dodge and Toughness. Earth Domain grants toughness so pick the dwarven deity you like the most: viewtopic.php?p=714979#p714979

As for stats, you could go for a wisdom based build and make most of your Blade Barrier spell. (You should consider Empower and/or Maximise spell in that case) You just cast Blade Barrier on yourself and toggle on your Defensive Stance. You are not moving anywhere for a while and anyone foolish enough to approach is shredded to bits! (Divine Power means you can duke it out normally.)

The other way is to get enough wisdom to unlock level 9 spells. Starting ability score of 16 +3 from wisdom items is the usual way to go, and then just focus on raising your Strength ability modifier for AB and damage.

So... The question is, which of the two paths sounds more interesting?

Oh and, you can go Dwarven Defender 10, but you kind of get most out of it at level 7 in my opinion. (If you go cleric that is.)

I actually like the blade barrier option (: very dwarfven I going too dig my heels in come get me. Dwarfves are like a stone wall that hits back.

ANd it fits with dwarfves do not back down or give up ground

You would need to select Hierophant Spell Power three times to get that caster level of 30.

So I guess the question is, do you need help with a build itself, or is the previously described idea enough?
