This should go in your Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/Campaigns/BG folder.

Thread necromancy at work. I'm having this problem on a fresh download. Has this file been updated and if so does anyone have a current version of this file?
Alternatively I think my problem might be that I don't yet have a "BG" folder. in campaigns. I tried creating a new folder called "BG" and putting it in there but is that for sure the right name?

Yes, the folder's just named "BG" -- and that should work for you! Let us know if it doesn't and we can get you a more recent version of the .CAM file.

Got it! It was a problem with it trying to change the file type for some reason. I needed a Windows update
