Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Just installed the GoG version, input the CD keys and used ADL to get in to the server. It allows me to select a character, but as soon as it finishes loading the nexus I get a message "You have been booted"

Anyone ever have a similar issue or have any advice to address this problem?

Maecius have to fix it. It will work if you saved a copy of the nwncdkey.ini file from your old installation to your new one.

Ok, so the issue is the cdkey's don't match? I still have the old file so I can copy them over. Thanks M3nt!

having a similar problem i think. used one computer to log in alt acct and then when i switched it over it boots at log and client extension console says, " this acct is already registered with a different cd key.

should i just create a new acct for that set of cd keys?

so yea. creating a new acct fixed that for me

You can also request to have multiple CD keys attached to a single account if you will be using multiple copies of the game (for example, across multiple computers). You just have to notify the admin team.

the nwncdkey needs to be exactly the same in both computers. If you copy the nwncdkey from your installation directory of your main pc, to the installation directory of the other PC you wont have the cdkey issue and can log from any PC to any of your account - obviously not simultaneously.

I'm also having the same issue. I have complete nwn2 from gog and get booted right before I load into nexus

If you use your old CD keys it addresses the issue (did for me), but if not you can PM Maecius/Endelyon to fix it for you by tying the new keys to the same account.

My friend and I have three copies of Nwn2 two hard copies and one downloaded through GoG. However, when he tries to log in he is instantly booted. I am in game see it say that he joined and then is immediately kicked. We live together and are trying to get on there for some fun RP after work. We have looked things up online and nothing seems to solve the problem. Can you help please, this has been ongoing for nearly a month now. Thank you in advance!
