Give me some tips on druid

Okay I've rolled a druid and having fun so far. I like the summons and versatility of shapes.
Plan is to be a dragon shape druid with dragon companion.
A lot of people have answered me questions in private, but I need public view on the build.

http://nwn2db.com/build/?263207

This is what I'm going with so far.

Lvl 14 so far

Questions: Is augment summoning worth it in the long run? I use summons a lot at this point, but I wonder if they are just cannon fodder at high level.

Do I lack any must-have feats? Do I need spell penetration or other stuff? Please give suggestions.

So basically I wonder if my spellcasting will be strong enough. I do plan on using dragon shape as often as possible once I do get it.

Should I cap Tumble at 10 since I can't raise it to 20 as druid anyway?

Also is Magical Beast Wild shape A lot better than plant/normal wild shapes? Currently been using bear and treant for the most part, and wondered if I should just stick to these "Base shapes" untill I reach dragon shape. I also get elemental shape on the way, so that should suffice yes? I feel a bit feat-starved already.

Anyway hope to get some feedback from all them experienced druid players. Thanks in advance

That spell focus in epics is a waste... better take +3 WIS isntead of that and armor skin and augment and you will benefit more from it.
You'll get more splls, better DC's.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will go for great wisdom instead then.

More questiions:

In wildshapes what item properties exactly transfer over? Ive looked at the wiki, but it doesn't seem accurate.

Do further enchantments on weapons shield transfer? Like attributes, on hit effects, SR and so on? How about vampiric regen effects on gloves/weapons?

Does everything from armour pieces transfer?
I know base ac from armour/shields doesn't transfer, but the enchantet ac on them does. How about attributes, SR, skillpoints, spellslots, and other stuff?

Thanks again

A new form has been added, called Big Cat. The following bonuses will transfer when using wildshape for all shapes:

Your highest enchantment bonus to armor or bracers will transfer as an enchantment bonus to AC
Half of your enchantment bonus (rounded down) to your shield will transfer as a shield bonus to AC
Your highest deflection bonus will transfer as a deflection bonus to AC
Your natural bonus will transfer as a natural bonus to AC
Any other bonuses from items will transfer, but not weapons

can a druid use a reserve feat ( fiery burst, winters blast) while shapechanged?

No. Unfortunately you cannot. Not even the new feat call henchman is available.

I don't find oaken resilience to be very useful at epic level either.

once you can get dragon shape and your HP's are so high. you are really only hit on a crit. yea.. its more icing on the cake. another way to mitigate damage really and use up your wild shapes. wouldnt call it a must have feat. a nice to have feat.

Thx once again for replies.

Last thing I didn't get an answer to: Would you cap tumble at 10? I don't have enough points to reach 20 anyway, or do you guys like to max it as much as possible?

Nyeleni what feat would you like instead of Oaken resillience?

I'd say if you can, take tumble 10 on every character. No matter who you are, +1 AC doesn't hurt. On a druid, you certainly can.

This is the build I have with Alyndra at the moment:

Druid with dragonform

Storm bolt and zen archery is only for rp reasons, you could take spell focus conjuration for instance.

Been testing. And this Formula is wrong/false.

Bought an armour in avernus for 120k. Padded +4 with spellfocus Conjuration + Spellfocus Enchantment.
Whenever I shapechange i lose those spellfocus feats on the armour, and my dc on spell goes down.

Starting to wonder how many stats actually transfer. So far it seems like this:

AC transfers as the formula says.
Attributes transfer.
Flat hp transfer.
Skills transfer.

Not sure anything else does.

Any1 else who actually tested this?
