Ulcaster's Ruins - Bug or feature? :D

The room in Ulcaster's ruins with the pillars where the lights of the symbols on the side need to match the lights above each pillar, and you have to solve it in two steps.
I just solved it by turning one lever... and then the one beside it, to reverse the change. The colors were as they should be straight away. I don't see any problem with this possibility, but who knows

Gedwey Insignia designed the area and could answer for sure, but if I recall there several possible ways that puzzle can spawn so the correct answer is not always the same. I may be thinking of other areas of the dungeon as it's been a long time since we tested it, but I definitely remember one of the neat features was having solutions that change per reset.

That puzzle actually makes sense with the clues given so I think it was purposarily designed that way.

The solutions do change per reset on all of them except the smelly room with the eight lights and the non-puzzle with the levers. I've seen a lot of variations on this one

This is a bug that happens 1/12 of the time. When the puzzle is no longer challenging to anyone, there's a simple "improvement" that will take care of this.
