Adoration (For Adelaide)
By Luke Darius
Your gaze sees through my eyes like open doors,
Along deserted track most dubious
It dwindles down to depths most dangerous.
Your eyes peer past the masks like naught before.
Ye went to face the madness kept in store,
Behold the hidden cryptic monstrousness.
For down you went with lustrous gorgeousness,
The memory of such contrast evermore.
Awoken in my heart, love unexplored,
Ye taught me that it is okay to feel.
The faith held in myself was soon restored,
The inspiration of your love is real.
Your tender loving beauty underscored
With lips soft pressed and then my love was sealed.

Untitled Adventure
by: Chord Silverstrings
Let me tell you a tale of adventure and woe
Warm yourself with mead and spirits
I will give you the blow by blow
‘er the end, might be you’re better for hearing these lyrics
It all started with a great danger to the land of Nashkel in Amn
There were tales of a Great Wyrm, white as snow
In yon town, a band of hero’s gathered that would be the balm
The agreement struck, the courageous company, death-bringers with sword and fire and bow
Tales had spread of the damage the wyrm it wrought
Farmer’s cattle stolen, crops destroyed, unsuspecting travelers missing
Signs of struggle, terror the land was fraught
To this land came our benevolent band a traipsing
Up the great mountain, Speartop they climbed
Hordes of beasts, demons and other nightmares
Our hero’s paid dearly for their ascent, arriving up top bloodied and grimed
Reaching the summit, a giant cave, within lies the beast most quare
Long and hard they fought and tumbled
The Great Wyrm struck with claws and ice
And in the end, yon beast was humbled
As it fell, suffering many blows, who landed the last is imprecise
Of our hero’s there were seven
The Sentinel, Kory…Hoar’s Favored
Beautiful Elvina, thy wards a gift from heaven
Plar, small of stature, yet with skill may prove his companions savior
Tirion, warrior of the Elfkin, the wyrm would ne’er scare
Revenark, brave and true, Dwarf of Kings
Jane, adventurer of here and there
And finally, your storyteller, Chord Silverstrings

Swan Song Sonnet
By: Silver
Excitement surges in me
I thought I lost them back there
Maybe I am safe up tree
Come for me, they wouldn't dare
I've set a trap, now they come
Quick, I spring and jump to run
Spotted, now flies a mold plum
Now I am safe, but not done
Daily I live for the thrill
By night it is far more so
Revenge it was my father's will
So I must carry to the core
I did not choose this life for me
A new way, I'd like to see

The Black Lotus
By: The Black Lotus
❧
Why should we fret of ill or well
While we two are together?
The fires that flaming shadows call
Would be but sultry weather.
And earthquakes shook the very ground?
It couldn't sway our depth.
Should battlecries against us sound
We'd heed naught but a breath.
❧
We'd break the line with stroke and luck,
'Midst arrows loosed like rain;
If you be struck, or I be struck,
There’s one to strike again.
If you befriend, or I befriend,
Strength would be in us twain,
And good things end and bad things end,
But you and I'd remain.
❧
Why should we fret for realms' end
While we two are together?
The heavens rent from end to end
Would be but windy weather.
If the stars were shaken down in spate
T'would be a shower of spring,
And we'd not hear the trump of fate
But hear a robin sing.
❧
Battles unborn and vast shall brew
And faltered standards stream,
New friends shall come and trials too,
New troubles toil and teem;
New times shall pass and still renew,
One truth that does not seem:
That I am I, and you are you,
...And we a morning dream.

Poem
by: Teris
Dustlights skies of glowing
Flimmers shiney, away all slip, so much its time.
Away despondent, fool her eyes.
It flees, we die
Father wishliest rusted.
Angel flowers, disconsolate, wrap then sunlight’s souls
Gathers dust, all dreaming wells
So bright to cry

Day in the life
By: Solwyn Astorio
Grim dawn lights up the filth of my heart,
As world tries so hard to prevail.
It feels so bizarre to put up a fight,
As death sends her sorrowful mail.
The battle I'm in has started with ease:
Combatants were eager for test.
And nobody knew the dangers, it seems,
Which brings my poor soul to unrest.
It's funny. It is. Against all the odds
We've lasted so long and so far.
By will (or by whim) of men and of gods
We lived. For how long? Oh my stars...
Grim dawn lights up the filth of my heart.
Another fight shows its dire face.
They won't fall for it, they have now some smarts...
They just wish for death' cold embrace.

Anthem of Stonebar
by: Bagnose Mclaggan
Come gather around me. Ye travelers surround me.
Hark now to the ballad of Stonefist Drow Hater.
I may well confound you, astound you, spellbound you,
With heroes and villains, of the isle Elban Aator.
Watch now as our friends race here from afar.
For now, with our King, we live in Stonebar.
Three. Two. One. We’re off!
Band of brothers, marching together.
Heads held high in all kinds of weather.
With fiery blasts, watch our banners rise,
Beyond Faerun, beyond the skies!
At the sight of our King, take your stand,
With the gallant leader of our band.
Send a joyous shout throughout the land!
For kin! for King! for Stonebar!
