Scare scroll issue

In BG shop "Sorcerous supplies" the information on the Scare scroll you can buy there show up as level one and the description is that of Cause fear spell, which would be level one.
....but when you learn the scroll / scribe it into the spellbook it shows up as a level two spell and with the correct description of Scare.
