Daggerspell Mage

Just a few questions I am unsure of and have seen conflicting info on.
Does sneak attack work with a warlock blast, and does Daggerspell add to a worklock blast?? In the nwn2db it seems to qualify for Daggerspell.
Also does blind-fight work with a warlock range touch attack? Or is it a wasted feat?

As for Warlock Eldritch Blast Sneak Attacks, I do not think you can get them beyond Hideous Blow hitting along with your regular melee Sneak Attack. I think you need Arcane Tricskter to get Touch Attack Sneak Attacks on this server and it does not provide Warlock progression.
And yes, Daggerspell Mage is one of the few PRCs that actually provide Warlock Eldritch Blast progression.
And I think Blind-Fight always gives a chance to reroll any attack roll. But it has been forever, might be mistaken.

Daggerspell Mage doesnt allow sneak attacks to be added to Eldritch blast. But you can still add dagger weapon dmg (1d4)+dagger enhancement to your eldrtich blast(from both daggers with double throw). Since last update elemental dmg on your daggers should also be added to eldritch blast.
Dragonslayer also gives eldritch blast promotion. (besides spell penetration, shield&armor prof.,tumble class skill)

So feasibly you could replace your sneak dice with hideous blow with a sneaker character and never really have to worry about crit immunity, just tons of blast dice stacks on your dagger double-cast.
Potentially very nasty.

Well, one caveat is that Hideous Blow only hits once per round whereas Sneak Attacks hit 4 per round (assuming 10 attacks with PTWF). You'd have to do the math, but in general sneak attacks will do more damage against non-sneak immunes, but might not against the immunes even with Epic Precision, it depends on how many sneak dice you have and how many blast dice. If, for example you have 10d6 sneak attack dice and 15d6 blast dice, hideous blow only gives 15d6 / round in added damage while sneak gives 40d6 out of HiPS. Even against Crit immune Epic Precision gives 20d6 vs. 15d6 from hideous blow.

Mechanics aside the build straight slays shit. I mean is a pure terror of slaying madness alone or in groups. Can not wait to get mine to level 30 and watch it burn down armies while sipping tea.

Do we think hideous blow works with dagger double-cast, though? It's pretty specific about it working on a melee attack. Does that include melee
touch attacks? If yes, could you queue up a hideous blow, and then cast a melee touch attack spell of some sort, and get both your double-dagger damage + melee touch spell effect + eldritch d6 damage? Seems awesome, but also unlikely.

I don't see why it wouldn't work with double dagger cast. You'd swap in between hitting with hideous blow and then using a different blast shape, and back again. Or am I wrong?
It sounds like Calodan is confirming my suspicions that this build would absolutely wreck.

On another thread, someone mentioned that Dragonslayer also advances Warlock hit dice. Could be another option to use, but haven't tested it out myself.

I made a daggerspell, but I totally have no idea how to use daggercast.

You just have to equip your daggers and the next time you hit with hideos blow, the damage will be added.
And yes the damage is good, but not really any better than what a pure rogue has. Sneak damage can be used many times a round after all, eldritch damage can't.

I'm playing daggerspell lock with hidious blow but at the moment daggercast only adds 1d4 + whatever dagger enchantment is. I wait when they change it to also include elemental dmg.
Not sure if hidious blow does count as daggercast proccing but its still not so good on RTA without extra elemental dmg added to calculation considering what you have to pay in feats/classes to become daggerspell lock.

The elemental damage is already added but you won't see it as a different damage type it will just bump the damage up.

Oh I see - I guess I'll start seeing diffrence with double daggercast. Does Arcane Infusion/Fiery weapon count toward that bonus or only natural elemental dmg on daggers aplies?
Also - would it work with hideous blow?

Won't work with hideous blow, only on RTAs, any damage bonuses that you can see on your dagger(s) will be added no matter the source.
