Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

In hopes of actually hitting a touch attack spell I got quikened spell in order to:
Quickened spell true strike, melee touch attack spell.

This doesnt seem to be applying the +20 ab though, is this an engine limitation?

Melee touch attack according to the nwn2 wiki:
Melee touch attacks take into account the attackers strength in addition to their base attack bonus, as well as any normal attack bonuses (such as from Aid).

next attack roll probably means physical attacks only but couldnt say for sure

not sure why you would want to use it on a touch attack anyway, touch AC should be lower unless they are all dodge and dex

Probably to make sure he hits... Does true strike actually lead to a crit?

Touch Attacks usually land, if they do not, your BAB is still rather low and the problem will be fixed through level ups. If it is not the case, then you are most likely against concealment, and then you need to get the Blindfight feat. You will still miss, but not as often.

As for Truestrike, it should be just a short duration AB buff. (Not the full 20 either, if you have other buffs like weapon Enchantment Bonus and Greater Heroism on you.)

It will apply to RTA and MTA... but to be honest its not that usefull... It wont add +20 AB due to the fact you already have bonuses probably from Dexterity or Strength and Heroism. Also the AB to hit with those attacks doesnt have to be that high as you ignore all the armor bonuses from item like plate and shield, all the natural armor bonuses. And you can always roll a 1 no matter how high your AB will be you will fail.
