The caravan is to complicated outside varallas esp for new players

could we expand the little area around the portal and add a carvan/small cr note to each location...

1 for Mist Lake

1 for UD Upperdark Start (with a small ooc notice) theres alot of low level areas here (that new players miss because they don't know how to get there)

How about actually writing proper, english names for the areas when taking the caravan? The map is called Mist Lake, everyone calls it Mist Lake... but taking the caravan is Undrek -Something-. Same thing with the drow outpost. Should be a bit more obvious where you're going.

I'd also propose that all caravans should take you to any area you can travel to via caravan? It's not really fun waiting several minutes for people to use two caravans to get to a certain zone (Upperdark most commonly, have to take caravan from Sshamath to Mist Lake, Mist Lake to drow outpost). This extra zone screen adds nothing to RP and is frustrating especially when there are many people online and overall zoning times are slow. I'd much rather use that time to do something meaningful IC than look at an extra load screen.

Regarding the names, it would be cool if the transition points would actually have names as well... I stumbled into the troglodoid area yesterday instead of the goblins cause I didn't remember which transition point I needed to take .

I mean I am an individual with an especially bad memory but I'd bet others sometimes also get lost in UD because of a lack of description on the transition points .

And yea agree caravans should tell you the area name.

i ventured down there with my surface orc and i kind of liked that everything was in a strange dialect that my character could not understand. got totally lost. it was great.

That is strange. Most I've talked to ingame recently actually call it Undrek Vallanar, but the other place is normally just called an outpost.
