Make the trees disappear?

Howdy. Can somebody help me out with making the view-blocking tree-tops disappear, especially in the grave yard? I love the beautiful graphics in these areas, so I want to keep them turned up. If I know how to do it, I could experiment. I read it someplace, but now I can't find it again. Thanks!
