Can we get get a second path in the druid class where you do not get any caster levels or spells but high bab and some defences in your animal , elemental , magic beast and dragon shapes?

unlikely... a druid that doesnt cast but has the shapes would be like a polymorphing barbarian... try bear warrior?

And no thanks on the Bear warrior 1 shape is not druid enough for me

I just always wanted to play a feral druid with out all the spell casting.

barbarian, druid and ranger are the nature related classes... druid and ranger cast so if you take casting away all you have is barbarian, but you still wanna shapeshift so now we are talking a bear warrior barbarian

but druid is one of the major spellcasting classes, asking for a druid with no spells is like asking for a wizard with no spellcasting... whats the point?

i could see it as a ranger kit of some sort but not really a druid one

Bear warrior is a problem for this route because it only has a single option. The fact that it's bear only is a reason I for one have ignored it as an option for playing a shapechanger without druid. More forms for bear warrior would make it a lot more appealing. Rename it Totem Warrior and choose a totem (form) at first level.

oh right, we have those too, they see dead people so they kinda get ignored

but they are also casters so point remains! and yea i can see that with bear warrior and wouldnt be against more shapes

It's possible that Kit's could be used with Bear Warrior to allow a player to select a different set of shapes, though considering the issues with getting Bear Warrior to work correctly I'm not sure it would be worth the potential headaches.

All that you need to do now is fix the danged save bug and the class is done and polished.

it doesnt really need to be a kit, can be its own class or w/e is easier

just have your wis so low you cannot cast any spells and put it in strength or whatever. your ab will be higher. you will have shapechanges and a pet whatever

Druid without spellcasting ability is about as effective as an unbuffed shapeshifter.

I think the Shifter PrC should meet a lot of people's requests and requirements once it is worked on and finished, but it is on hold for now, along with a dozen different class projects like Harper Agent *cough cough*.

Edit - If another base class was created with the sole intention of shapes and magicless I can see more allowances in class combination like monk being included to help with AC. I can't see Druid being split in 2 paths since magic progression is at level 1.
