Disarm and Improved Disarm feats viability?

I'm at a crossroads where I'm considering if the Disarm feat is a worthwhile investment, and if it is bugged or taboo in PvP later. In my build concept, I would be trading 1 Dex bonus (2 epic dex feats) in exchange for Disarm and Imp. Disarm.
First of all, the current wiki info:
If the attacker meets or beats the defender's roll, the defender's main hand weapon is disarmed. If the attacker's main (right) hand is empty, the weapon will be transferred to the inventory of the attacker (the attacker's weapon size in this case is the same as his creature size). Otherwise, the disarmed weapon will end up on the ground.
If the target's weapon is not droppable, it will be destroyed if the target is disarmed. By default, creatures created in the toolset are not disarmable, they must be set to be disarmable in the toolset.
Are all of those points true in this server?
From testing in JEG's, getting Disarmed by NPCs put the weapon back in my inventory, but I know JEG's is not completely 100% reflective of the state of the server and server-side scripts. What happens against an armed player in pvp currently?
Any special rules about Disarm and PvP? I didn't find any yet.
Regarding the PvE content of the server, are they disarm-able (assuming armed humanoids/monsters), and is there enough disarm-able opponents out there to make the feat worth taking?
Anyone out there with the Disarm feat who can offer any feedback to their experiences and its usefulness?
Much appreciated!

it has a custom script on the server, weapons are no longer destroyed at all or taken but unequipped and put back into the owners inventory
pve wise they have to be set to disarmable for it to work yes, but if there are enough for it to be worth it is debatable i guess and depends on where you go

A successful imp. disarm destroys a monsters weapon.
Not a players weapon however - here it is just removed from his hands (and the hotbar

).
So it's nice in PVP.
It does not work against all monsters, as many have not gotten the disarmable-flag.
(If devs read this, please remember to set that flag sometimes

)
My guess is, it may work about on half of them.
No idea how useful it is in the epics, as my disarming char. is only lv.21 - but i'm still enjoying him (and the feat).
If you do a forum search, there is an old post somewhere with a list with disarmable critters.

I used to have a working list of disarmable critters which got lost in the forum change aether some time ago. About 30-40% of server mobs can be disarmed, so you'll be disappointed by the feat more often than not.

Not just unequipped.
Unequipped, put in the players inventory and the shortcut on the player's hotbar is removed.
If the player is dual wielding, then their main hand weapon will be placed in the inventory, and the offhand weapon is switched to main hand... the shortcut is removed from hotbar.
So when the player loses his weapon,,, you have like a good round or two depending on their speed if finding the weapon to re-equip it to help you in combat.
