I'm at a crossroads where I'm considering if the Disarm feat is a worthwhile investment, and if it is bugged or taboo in PvP later. In my build concept, I would be trading 1 Dex bonus (2 epic dex feats) in exchange for Disarm and Imp. Disarm.
First of all, the current wiki info:
If the attacker meets or beats the defender's roll, the defender's main hand weapon is disarmed. If the attacker's main (right) hand is empty, the weapon will be transferred to the inventory of the attacker (the attacker's weapon size in this case is the same as his creature size). Otherwise, the disarmed weapon will end up on the ground.
If the target's weapon is not droppable, it will be destroyed if the target is disarmed. By default, creatures created in the toolset are not disarmable, they must be set to be disarmable in the toolset.
Are all of those points true in this server?
From testing in JEG's, getting Disarmed by NPCs put the weapon back in my inventory, but I know JEG's is not completely 100% reflective of the state of the server and server-side scripts. What happens against an armed player in pvp currently?
Any special rules about Disarm and PvP? I didn't find any yet.
Regarding the PvE content of the server, are they disarm-able (assuming armed humanoids/monsters), and is there enough disarm-able opponents out there to make the feat worth taking?
Anyone out there with the Disarm feat who can offer any feedback to their experiences and its usefulness?
Much appreciated!
