The custom spell Chaos seems like a perfect fit for the Cleric Domain. Can it be added to the spells granted?

It already has Confusion spell, which is essentially the minor form of Chaos.

There's quite some interesting things that domains have, that we don't see expressed ingame.

Agreed, the Obsidian implementation of cleric domains is horrible compared to PnP*. It's something we're pretty much stuck with, though!

* - YMMV here obviously.

The domains on BGTSCC have been customized from NWN2, and Karond at one point in the past further developed an expansion of the customized Domains...and rumor had it those expansions were approved, but unfortunately never implemented.

So in regards to the general Domains issue, yes, there is some points of lack of development or lack of Canon (sometimes mechanical limitations as well).

But Chaos spell seems to fit this particular domain so well....

Cleric with chaos domain already gets chaos... least i got it when i was playing with chaotic cleric builds in JEGS?

Well, that is interesting to read!

However, some things working in JEGs do not work on the actual BGTSCC server.

I guess it would take someone like Valefort or Chambo to actually check the "live" code.

You can check by yourself actually, the information is in the domains.2da in your bg_soz_tools.hak. You'll find the id of the spells granted at each level for each domain there, then look up the spells.2da to see which spell it is.

For Chaos spell being given to Chaos domain the answer is : yes, at level 7.
