Human language, better reflecting each group suggestion

I would love to reduce the shear number of human language skills, to better reflect the proper communication of each language. Some of them listed in the selector are only dialects of each others. Like Chardic and Damaran would be like someone from Boston talking to someone from London at most. Chultan, and Tabaxi are the same language, and Thayans speak Mulhorandi. Yet do to game mechanics they will not even be able to understand each other. Other sub groups within a language are more diverse but understandable with a little work. They should be factored as a single language like we do with dialects and sub groups of Elven and Dwarven. A description showing which sub languages, or dialects this covers could be added.
I suggest the bellow Languages. (those in perenthencies are the existing BG selectable languages that should be combined).
* Illuski (= Languages: Illuskan, Bothii, Reghedjic, Oilusk)
* Waelan (= Languages: Waelan)
* Uluo (= Languages: Chardic, Damaran, Halruaan, Netherese, Uluik, Vaasan)
* Thorass (= Languages: Thorass, Cormanthan, Turmic, Aglarondan, Chondathan, Tharian)
* Chessentan (= Languages: Chessentan, Dambrathan, Shaartan, Tashalan)
* Raumtheran (= Languages: Rashemi, Halardrim)
* Imaskari (= Languages: Durpari, Imaskar, Gurri, Lantanese, Raumvira, Tuigan)
* Mulani (= Languages: Mulhorandi, Thayan)
* Untheric (= Languages: Untheric)
* Alzhedo (Alzhedo, Midani) - Part of the Untheric language but so much time has past sence they branched, should be it's own?
* Chultan (= Languages: Chultan, Tabaxi)
* Han (= Languages: Kozakuran)
* Shou Chiang (= Languages: Shou)
Dead languages, so could count as their own as it takes more study...or not?
Logos(s) - Part of the Uluo, but a dead lanuage -
Talfiric - Part of Chessentan, but a dead lanuage -
Add this language?
Ruathlek (Part of the Uluo, but is a secret language of illusionist and spoken in Nimbral. So I feel should be it's own)
Remove language
Nexalan (Should not exist as this land is not discovered yet in 1353) *Edit* Unless from Candlekeep?
Another possibility is if this is too hard, could each of those within the groupings act as the same language, for example if I use Chardic, could someone speaking Damaran be scripted to understand as if they were the same language, and vice versa? Rather then changing the names.
