A Journey for a Delivery
It was a 'reasonably' quiet day for Louise at the Friendly Arm Inn. She had recently just delivered a new supply of bandages to the Temple in the Inn's compound, and now found herself folding and prepping bandages of her own.
She was mentally going through a list of duties that awaited her. The work of an 'Endurer' is never done.
A call of boredom by an adventurer was heard, which stirred her from her moment of mindfulness, bringing her back to the 'now'.
Nodding to herself, she found her sign to move on, and set about packing her belongings up.
Coincidently Carlotta approached her and greeted her warmly, having a quick discussion. Louise voiced a need to complete a delivery to Soubar, to deliver essential medicinal herbs to the resident alchemist, and asked if she would like to attend.

They trekked for most of the day until they arrived at the Phoenix Company roadside camp, just outside of the Wyrm's Bridge. Here they stopped to eat, drink and engage in friendly companion like banter. Louise then informed the group of the full reason behind her journey to Soubar, at which point Baristan reiterated his distaste for the destination, and set about entering the Phoenix lodge for a decent meal, comforting furnishings and a good cigar. She then explained to the remaining three that in the service of Ilmater, it is her duty to provide aid and healing to any and all that deserve it, even those in distant lands that may not receive regular supplies.
The group, eventually rested and recuperated, packed up their travel gear and set off again. Only to get halfway across the bridge, before Taeghen called for them to stop... and look at the beauty of the bridge and all that beyond it.

Once the moment had passed they all carried on. Eventually they arrived into the farmlands outside of the Gate. They took a brief moment to recuperate then headed off once more. Taeghen began telling the group about life at sea as a merchant navy sailor, dealing with pirates and the wonders of the open ocean.
They made their way deep into the winding road of Thundar's Ride. Beset upon by Bugbears at every turn, they each proved their worth in battle valiantly. Carlotta, proving of solid faith and martial prowess defeated many single handedly that night. Once again, talk moved to Faith, and Taeghen began informing the group about how each of the deities are represented by constellations in the sky. He eventually was able to find Ilmater's for Louise, pointing it out to her. She still struggled to understand the concept, and then elaborated to him that Ilmater was closest to her in mind and body.

OOC P.S. : Thanks for the party and roleplay everyone! I really enjoyed it. Feel free to add your own parts here to the thread if you wish, and any other little quirks to our story. Looking forward to creating another adventure again.
