transition from north to south

could we (the orc players) get a walkable surface transition between the north side of the map to the south side of the map. as it stands i must cross in front of the BG gates and the guards at the bridge that do not like me (orc). i feel uncomfortable going into the southern maps knowing i must pass by your guards and use the bridge or boat as i am only reacting to the AI and the AI reacting to me. after the bridge i can move around using tunnels and side passages to go fairly unnoticeable if that would be my intention.

I know how you feel Ronin is excited from Baldur Gates and all of the Dukes territories.

There was once with the Uldoon's trail. But since Triel is gone there is no connection between Soubar and Sharp Teeth anymore, that doesn't lead through the bridge.
That other way should be brought back imo.

that was my old route and made a nice transition with xp/difficulty after bugbears but before trolls. it was very far from an unused area as i spent alot of time there. and i wasnt always alone (which was fun). its not xvarts/giants/trolls popular, but not many places are.

I didn't mean to say, Triel should be brought back. But a link between Soubar and Uldoon's trail/Sharp Teeth should return.

if only the map that held the orogs and flinds. it had multiple transitions and could be used to act as the "back door" all the while returning the xp/challange transition so that moving outside the north is not as desirable. im seeing a map from the south side of the No tradeway map to this transitional area. have off of it the higher level zone that is there now as well as a trans to the ruins off the river. and a trans to the sharpteeth. it would not be a free be either, the orogs/flinds would be tough for a low level toon. could include a low water cross for the river, but with the tougher orogs and flinds instead of the few zombies.

If you're referring to the 'Uldoon's Trail' map with Greenest, the Flind camp and all the caves, then worry not! It's still in game. Only accesible via Nashkel or the Foothills now though.
ps. Definitely onboard with a sneaky way to get around. Curse those bridge guards.

There's a wagon in Soubar that goes to Roaringshore, right? I can't recall if that's a two way rout. Then take a boat to Candlekeep?

would be cool still to have a walkable. that feels more immersive than orcs in a row boat.

Yup bugged at the moment. But it should get fixed soon. If it wasn't already and just waits for an update.
