Lions way coastline, lions way pond bridge thingy, along the chionthar, north of beregost, BG docks, etc.

I had planned on requesting the same. It would be nice to drop a line where there is water.

Perhaps a couple spots (within RP distance) in each area that is practical when maps are touched?

Is it a system resource issue?

What does fishing actually do?

It's a time sink where you can catch fish in limited areas using a special rod weapon. Each catch gives XP up to a limit (1250xp I think?) but most casts don't result in a catch.

Like real life fishing it's only really recommended for the very patient, unlike real life fishing, the only suffering you cause is to yourself.

Anyway that's something for the area builders more than the scripters.

Sounds as exciting if not less than real life fishing

its easier than real fishing. but no more exciting at all. and you dont get the whole "im outside" feeling. that could be a good or bad thing depending upon who it is.

You can drink while fishing, just like in RL. Only this time, you're not at risk of having to drive home tanked.
