Char who has:

10 lev of Wizard
10 lev of Archmage
10 lev of Blood Magus

is 30 Caster Level, right ?

or 29 because of the Blood Magus progression ( 9/10 ) ?

CL29 unless Practiced Caster and / or Spell Power I.

Could be CL33 if you take Practiced Caster and Spell Power I, II, and III.

Practiced Caster gives +2 or +4 ?

Up to +4, But will not take you past CL30. So you can take classes prc's without full caster progression, but you won't gain caster level over 30 with PSC.

OC build will have 28 CL because BM is 8/10 now.

30 CL with Practiced Spellcaster
31 CL with Blood Component + above.
33 CL with Archmage Spell Power II + above.
35 CL with Bloodseeking Spell (PvP consent abiliy) + above.

If you reorganised the build to include 10 levels of Red Wizard (W 5/RW 10/BM 9/AM 6) you could get 40 CL in spells of the specialised school.

Building with Shadow Adept (W 5/ SA 10/ BM 9/ AM 6) would net you CL 42 in Necro/Illusion/Enchantment.

42 seems a bit high

This would end up with CL 39

W -> 5
SA -> 10
BM -> 8 (9 with Prac Sp)
AM -> 6

SA Spellpower feats -> +3
BM Bloodseeking Blood Comp -> +3
AM Spellpower -> +2 (AM Spellpower 3 needs lvl 8 AM)

38 is really high though if you really invest into int you could get a DC 44 Wail or Weird

That build is really feat starved though

Edit: Actually ends up at CL 39 if you take practiced SC

SA gets +4 CL/+2 DC to Necro/Illusion/Enchantment for Shadow Magic User (level 1 feat).
SA also gets +3 Spellpower (levels 3,7,10) to the same.

Total = +7 CL for Necro/Illusion/Enchantment.

Combine that with Blood Component (+1) and Bloodseeking Spell (+2) and Archmage Spell Power (+2) = +12 CL = 42 CL.

i know BM skips progress at 5 but i thought and from what i see in the descriptor, that is it. what is new?

- Spells per Day/Spells Known: At every level except 5th the Blood Magus gains more spells per day.

i assume that means its CL increases with BM at every level except 5 as well.

shadow magic feat only grants +2 to DCs afaik?

Edit: just checked ingame on my char its indeed +4 to CL aswell
