i cannot seem to find any simple items that a mage would use in surface areas that my orcs can go. specifically runes though it may not be limited to such things. of course getting simple scrolls for learning spells is limited to drops and soubar merchants when somebody sells. i didnt mind needing to pick scrolls off corpses. but i do not think runes drop. can i get runes to be purchasable in soubar or uruk lurra please?

Agreed - Soubar could use an arcane merchant. I am willing to do the RP if it's possible.

In the meantime, if you catch me online we can bump into each other in Soubar if you'd like. Zahven isn't too particular.

thanks planehopper. i have been wanting to "run into" an EB for a bit now anyway.

If not Soubar then certainly Roaringshore, where there would be peddlers in magical arcana 'acquisitioned' by plenteous acts of piracy.

i am unsure if a mind flayer uses such devices as runes, but there are mind flayers in soubar so....
