Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Heya!

I'm making a quick build request for a friend who wishes to start playing on the server:

He wants melee type using claws as weapons. I've noticed that Kamas have the claw model on bgtscc, so I suppose it'd here mean some sort of a dual wield char with Kamas. I suppose a straight forward fighter could be useful, but an assassin sneak would work just fine as well I think. He prefeers humans and dwarves, but I don't suppose he'd complain about any race that isn't a halfling or a gnome.

Now, this guy is kind of a powerbuilder, so if a build won't preform comapred to what else he sees around, he might get grumpy, so make it as strong as you can manage ^^.

I can't open the builder from work, but for a power-builder a M11/R10/A9 gets 10d6 sneak dice and Assassins death attack for damage along with 15 APR (5 of them sneak attacks), 16 with haste (6 sneak attacks). Prioritize getting DEX to 26 or 28, STR and CON can be odd for +3, WIS 13 with +3 item for +3 AC and you'll have decent AC (~mid 40's) and solid damage per round. As with all rogue builds the weakness is your low will and fort saves, but you should be able to dedicate one or two slots to bonus saves items and otherwise use HiPS for defense. There are other ways to build it, but essentially you want monk and some combination of classes to get damage which for a dual wielder is generally going to be sneak dice.

You could also go with M11/F12/X7 where you gain +8 damage from Epic WS and Melee Mastery. X could be Weapon Master 7 for more crits at a higher multiplier. Or you could go with NWN3/Anointed Knight4 (or WoD) to open Spellcraft (better saves), more speed and a bit of sneak dice. Damage would be a bit lower, but wouldn't be reliant on sneak dice for it and the damage would apply to every attack. This could also reach insane APR (17), but will struggle against high DR enemies. Still wants 26 DEX, but would also benefit from going for high INT with Combat Insight in epics or getting STR to increase damage a bit. Could also go for M11/F14/SB5 or SB14/F12/M4 with DEX 26 and high INT with Combat Insight and Insightful Strike which would probably be the best route to take for decent damage without sneak attack.

Don't get STR to low - even kamas have some weight
As a new player he probably wants to sell some of the loot he may find.
