Using shield as an off-hand weapon

It seems that the feat Shield Bash turns shields into off-hand weapons in some ways: e.g. re. AB, whose penalties get raised by TWF in the case of a Heavy and Tower Shield (or is the latter only affected by ITWF?). Does this mean the shield also counts as an off-hand weapon if the player has Two-Weapon Defense? I.e. does the TWD bonus kick in with a shield equipped?

It would be great if someone could spell out all ways of raising Shield Bash damage as well as AB and how the AB-penalty-reducing feats stack with each other.

Last question: there is a shield for sale that grants the Improved Shield Bash feat. What does this do and, if nothing, are there plans to make it do something?

TWF or Agile Shield Fighter - Increases Shield Bash damage
ITWF increases the damage further.
GTWF increases the damage further.

My understanding of it is that there is no way for the script to fire multiple attacks, so instead the damage from the one shield bash attack is increased by Agile Shield Fighter or TWF feats. Agile Shield Fighter requires less DEX, but you can't improve the damage beyond that of TWF while ITWF/GTWF further increase the shield damage, but obviously require significantly more DEX investment.

Hope this helps.

Uhm... So, chad878262 or anyone else who is abreast of the most recent tweaks, it adds damage and also reduces the AB penalty? Or only adds damage? Does anyone know what all the Shield Bash relevant feats do exactly?
