"Server is not responding: connection timed out"

Hi all
I've been playing in the server for more than a month now, and today when I tried to login it wouldn't connect to the server. I can see the server up in the server's list, the number of players connected, but I keep getting the "Server is not responding: connection timed out" message. I use the client extender btw.
I tried searching the foruns but didnt get a more current result on this.
Could anybody help pls?

Hi Akae,
We had to reinitialize our anti-DDOS protection, so you're probably being blocked by our firewall.
In order to whitelist your IP address, please click the "If you can't log in, CLICK HERE and try again in 5 minutes" link at the top of the forums. Right under the player count, and between the date and the PayPal Donate button.
After you've submitted your IP to our firewall, you should be able to get in within a few minutes.
Let us know if that doesn't work for you!

PS: it worked earlier, but now it happened again. I tried this solution 3 times in a row now and it just won't connect. Please help

If you've clicked the link and it's still not letting you in you probably just need to wait a little longer. Sometimes it can take as much as 20 minutes before it finally lets you in.

Same here. Yesterday it worked, today it won't. I just used the link several times, but i still can't log in. I still get timeout-messages.
Guys, it's really not funny if you have RP waiting or even events and can't log in. Can someone help, please?

I don't think anyone finds this situation funny or ideal. I understand it can be frustrating having to wait to get in, but the alternative is that the server is down for everyone when DDOS attacks happen. I double checked and found your IP on the whitelist already, so it should let you in eventually.

Do you have to completely shut the game down for the whitelist to take effect or just keep trying the direct connect?

Sadly, after the update i can't log in again.
I have used the link twice and waited around 15 mins. I still get timeout messages. Could someone please take a look, what's up there?
