Boots went poof

Hi. I was just in some rp with a pc named Pokey on my character named Clydesdale and used barter to show him the boots I had called Assassins Galoshes, Mask Store. I dropped the boots in the barter window but they never showed up and he said he couldn't see them either. He cancelled the barter and they just weren't anywhere to be found after that. I bought them pretty cheap months ago from Mudd and rarely ever used them so I don't feel a gigantic loss. I never screenshotted because I never got a message that I lost anything, just a barter cancelled message. Don't really expect any sort of replacement though it'd be nice but just wanted to let someone know this strange thing happened. Thanks.
