Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I tried this a few times and not sure if this is working as intended. But if I cast bless before an existing bless spell had expired it takes the casting but doesn't complete he spell. I feel like it should cancel the existing bless then apply the new one with an updated timer. If this is not the case, then sorry for wasting time.

IDK if it is right or not... but I saw the exact same thing on a lot of buffing spells as well...

so I think this is normal...

You actually have to wait for one to expire for the next to work...
Haste works the same... invisibility, shield, ect.

i mean i can go and cancel spells out before rebuffing but that seems like a weird extra step to me. especially since the cancel menu seems a bit wonky and has an odd delay to it.

There's no check whatsoever, I just spammed bless on the server as well and can't see anything that you described aaron o_O

Actually this is known... If I get bless cast on me by a 1st level Cleric and I, as a 30th level Cleric try to cast it, it will not apply to me and just keep the 1st level's spell.

yes. it was bless by a favored soul. think 8th or 9th level. maybe im not favored anymore....
