Auto update is a function of the BG server that'll alleviate the time consuming admin involvement in the update process from development into production and make them frequent (weekly). One of the shortcomings of this will be the acquisition of the same set of files, due to their order of implementation into the custom content scope. This is a one-off matter, as all subsequent hash outputs would appear the same, but to assist the players who want a faster resolution than awaiting the ADL, or to mitigate data transfer, an application will be released here to restructure the Haks on your local machine, while pulling down any differentials.

I'm looking at an ETA of Thursday, July 20th.

Unless you use AoS's HAK rehash application before the update

Will we, or should we, then delete any old files? I think the current BG file set in near 20 GB.

Thanks mate! You just made me realize that a 13GB .tlk from somewhere else was sitting in my files...but no longer!

But my question is still valid: can we delete out any old files after this update/change?

I'll provide a prompt that will prune unused contexts.

I wonder why I have 27.5gb......
