Gondsmen X-Bower

Hey guys!
I've never played a Cleric before, never mind a Gondsmen. So currently I'm playing my toon as a level 10 Crossbowman fighter (It's cheese.)

However I plan to RCR her into a Gondsman, but want to keep her using a crossbow and hide armor. She's a Strongheart Hin.

Is it a lost cause because of the amount of feats needed to be invested (To continue using a crossbow)? I'm worried my character will be terribly gimped. Or will the Golem/spellcasting give me enough improvement to continue using my crossbow, even if I'm not a Fighter with tons of feats?

(Also, I'm broke and can't afford a luxury crossbow with feats on it.)

I'm not good at building spellcasters. Thanks for any advice.
