Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Greetings,

I am wondering if there is a file that can be modified so I do not have to click multiplayer and wait for the time out, which takes up to 2 minutes sometimes, just to get to the direct connect menu option. Is there a host file I can modify? I haven't found anything on the wiki and cannot access the old forums.

Save to your operating system's hosts file.

One possible path is: windows > system32 > drivers > etc > hosts

You can add the lines with txt editor. If you cannot save it directly, save it to desktop for instance. Then drag it to the etc folder.

Thanks, I figured it would be the OS host file but wasn't sure what the dns was.
