better wiz?

so.... have a couple caster wiz builds that i am debating on which is you like better.
#1 wiz is a more complicated mix

I'm confused by your calculations.
DC=10 Base + 11 Mod + 1 SpPr + 4 EpCast + 3 BM + 2 AM = 31
+3 Blood magus? +2 Archmage? Neither of them give DC increase, they give CL increase. Dropping the shadow weave bonus, you're at 35 CL here. That's +5 epic caster bonus.
Your base DC here should be 10 + 11 + 1 + 5 = 27

To my understanding AM gives caster level which can result in as an increase in DC for epic levels. But AM feature alone does not change the DC.

Just a suggestion. With build one... I am not sure I would use a feat to get +1 CL.
With your math of CLs, you are getting a total of 37. Your DC increases are every 3rd CL. so starting at 29 CL, then 32, 35, 38. You are not getting any benefit by spending a feat raising it by 1 point.
If you were not taking Shadow Adept, then I can see conflict for using Practiced to keep your CL up.
Just some food for thought.

OK. so squaring away my CLs and DCs. making them maximize better. Now the wiz 30 build looks worse. the penalized schools are pretty much as good as the unfocused ones on the wiz 30 build.
