Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

As I was walking around BG doing quests and losing my soul....I noticed a new addition to the farm outside of it. A pack mule. Now I have seen a few posts often overlooked by others that have mentioned them.

I also noticed in the log changes this last time there was some pack mule things done. Now the name implies something I am sure but what? Are there intentions of having one of these animals that carries gear for you? How will it work? I am dying to know!!!!!

Yes packmules are coming, but they are not available for purchase yet (except for QC who can test them). They will be able to carry gear for you, and both the mules and the gear they carry is persisted.

I saw UD would get bugbears and earth elementals. Any chance of pack lizards being added to that? There's the dinosaur that can work as a stand in for that.

The underdark pack "creatures" are still under consideration.

How is this supposed to work ?
Are we going to see a Mule trotting behind every character soon ?

Are they hindering movement, especially in small corridors and caves and most of the UD. ?

Are they lagging the server if everyone uses one or two of them ?

if the pack mule dies...

Nope. Only horses and ponies and whatever the UD gets. No mules.

Don't worry, if they are I will flick the kill switch and they will all explode in a shower of gore and loot. A character can only own 1 pack horse.
