What is another way to get logged in without going thru the nwndb?

nwndb is not used to log onto the server, it's a separate website that people use to prototype their character builds. Logging onto the BGTSCC game server works normally and is fine.

so there is a big download content?

Yes.

There were some changes & additions made to the hak registry, meaning all the hak content has to be downloaded again, in full.

It's unfortunate but very much worth it as the server is running pretty smoothly now (no 4 min load screens any more yay!)

No problem, stare just for minutes at the monitor while inventing new insults. Though you could find also ways to describe him favourably as a change .

... that would be a change!
