Is escape artist mechanically useful now or is it still a RP only skill ?

A high escape artist skill will let you slip from bigby spells, nothing changed there, it will look up what's the best : your AC or your escape artist score.

Last i asked, it was not doing anything at all - so this is some progress

On the other side, investing all to get high scores in escape artist for just a few spells - hmm.

Not all Bigby Spells unless the IG description is wrong. I believe it's the same as the wiki:

But only bigsbies from PCs right? Mobs still use the old ones?

The only difference between spawns and PCs is that spawns don't have a hand creature that you can kill. Otherwise no difference, escape artist is used in both cases.

It is of importance to note that if you are not a DEX based PC it is only a RP skill. I had it on Kory wearing medium armor +3 DEX and it NEVER WORKED EVER. Best used for SNEAKS who when get hit by a bigby are dead as hell. Even then there is a SMALL chance you slip it. SMALL.

Basically against a 30+ CL caster you're dead unless you managed to pump the skill to high heavens (possible but very costly), if it's against UMD on the other hand you'll escape all the time.
