Syndreth is from a noble sun elf family living in Leuthilspar. Their house is a relatively new one in Evermeet, dating their arrival from the mainland back only a few thousand years. Since then, their arcanist crafters and the wealth gathered from their magical merchandise gave them the desired fame around the isle. To countervail their "rootlessness" in Evermeet, the consecutive family heads were raised to honor the sun elven traditions and history to a degree that sometimes hindered their ability to realistically observe the happenings in the wider world on the other side of the sea.
In these circumstances, Syndreth was born in 1226 DR. Her father, being an archmage and having notable trading connections with Evereska, managed to create a good relationship with the ruling Council of Matrons of Evermeet. He prepared his two sons to become guard candidates for the Queen's palace, and when a proposal of the council was spread out in a closed noble circle regarding the need of a trusted arcanist on the mainland, the archmage recommended her daughter, who that time started to show good affinity in the Art. Though the girl was far from her adulthood, her father reasoned that her being risen up on the mainland and getting accustomed to the wider world from small age would even make her better for the purposes of the council.
Wise decision or not, the girl was finally chosen and sent to Evereska to a trusted friend of Evermeet to learn and enhance her capabilities in the Art, till the time comes for her to serve the greater purpose decided by her superiors. Being torn from her family, given a new name, a set of requirements and a communication orb as provisions for the trip, Syndreth reached adulthood being anything but enthusiastic about her task. As years went by, the unconscious fear of failure was slowly hidden under a layer of arrogance and the schema of an intelligent and capable young female.
Her powers growing, she somehow drifted further and further from the Seldarine, finding solace only in her Art. When working with magic, she felt her mind free at last from the expectations of others, and the Weave allowed her to change the world around herself a way she never thought it to be possible. When learning about Mystra, she found herself unspeakably grateful for her gift, and rendered herself willingly under the rules of the Goddess who created the beauty what we call the Art.
But the story just begins here.
