Would it be possible to make the aura selectable? Being unable to use etherealness because of the minor debuff makes the whole prestige class less appealing.

Is there not an option to turn it off through the right-click-->War Priest menu? Blackguards can turn off their aura, so it's definitely mechanically possible.

Yes, try dragging the Aura feat from your feat list to a hotbar. If it can be, click it and it should deactivate (like Blackguards can turn off their Aura of Despair). If you cannot drag it to a hotbar, then it is likely the effect is a permanent one

Using the aura feat switches it on, even if it was already on. Seems no way to switch it off at all. If it cannot be changed to toggle on/off, I may have to reconsider taking the whole prestige class.

What's the problem here?

If you are ethereal and pass near to a hostile creature, the aura debuff dispels the etherealness. Likewise, immediately dispels if you are close to an enemy when cast.

My guess is that effects such as invisibility or greater sanctuary are ended whenever he runs past an enemy due to the Wapriest Aura.

To the OP I will flag in QC to see if a dev can look in to this.

Changed next update, use the feat a second time to toggle it off.
