Hello guys!
I'm not sure exactly where to post this, but I'm having a strange problem. I recently bought a GTX 1080 and a new monitor, ViewSonic XG2703-GS 27". Now when I play NWN2 my performance goes to a crawl. FRAPS reports my FPS well below 30 in various areas and even offline now. I should note that I have an overclocked 4790k too.
I'd like to state some observations. After a reboot and the first launch of NWN2, there is no performance problems. If NWN2 is shut down and relaunched, performance is cut down to half or more. The only way to fix it that I have noticed so far is to change the refresh rate to 144Hz from 165Hz or vise-a-versa or reboot.
Does anyone have any ideas about what is going on here?

Have you recently updated your driver or tried going back to a previous version of the driver?
Also are you using the client extension?

CL, yes. I will DDU and check some older drivers to see if the issue persists.

I have tried that to no avail.Aspect of Sorrow wrote:Force the process affinity to one core.
Thanks guys. I just rolled back the drivers, and so far so good. Going to need to keep testing and will update.
