Instantaneous Feat spells on Hotbar and Metamagic

Mechanical Issue here.

With spells such as Sudden Aegis, for example, if it is placed on the Hotbar, one must highlight the PC that shall cast it, then click the Hotbar associated key. It would be unbelievably fantastic if a Player just had to click the key...kinda like how Warlock Invocations work—you don't need to select the PC itself for casting to apply.

EDIT: it also isn't an "instantaneous" Feat, really, because there is still casting time involved (the opposite of instantaneous, actually).

Additionally, spells like Sudden Aegis that become instantaneous Feats and have a 30 sec cooldown, if they are memorized with a metamagic, such as Extend, they are actually not extended if you activate from the Hotbar. A conscious decision, or?!?

Extend would apply 2 rounds use. Not OP for a 30 sec cooldown (I highly doubt people even use the spell for 1 round of 10/DR, anyway. Empower would be 15/DR for 1 round. Also, not OP with such a small time.

Possibilities to look into "empowering" these Instantaneous Feat spells?

Empower only affects variable numeric effects of a spell so it wouldn't apply here, but extend would probably be alright I guess.

The old Epic gate used to be one click on the Hotbar and instant summon, no need to target the ground.

will it be possible that in every summon, we click a prefix tick on what we want to summon.

if the prefix tick is empty, the option to summon few other types are available for us to choose.
