How effective is Stormsinger magic?

Has anyone played Stormsinger or used the spells the class grants with comparable DCs? I am inexperienced with magic and am wondering whether they are useful in the epic levels or against bosses/boss entourages.

Storm of Vengeance is no joke. Cast it around your toon while engaged in melee, and its almost guaranteed the mob/boss will get paralyzed (unless they are immune). Gust of Wind can be useful against the right kind of low Reflex mob/PC.
Stormsinger is one of the most powerful PrCs, all around. Not just for its magic (which is still very good!).

Perhaps...better said is conditional use.
But usually Stormsinger is with Bard, so you're getting CL 25+ and full Bard spellbook. That alone makes for a killer combination. Bard + Stormsinger = Big Win.

Thanks, guys, for the feedback. Maybe you can also answer two more technical questions?
If Gust of Wind and Storm of Vengeance are the best Stormsinger abilities, it wouldn't really make sense to raise perform higher than 35 (incl. items), right?
And while I know 35 is the maximum CL for Storm of Vengeance (30 for all other abilities), how exactly is the DC calculated (for Cleric as well as Bard)?

Storm of Vengeance: At 10th level, a stormsinger with 18 or more ranks in Perform can use bardic music to cause a storm of vengeance, as the spell of the same name (DC 10 + stormsinger's class level + Cha modifier). Her caster level is equal to her ranks in Perform, with a maximum caster level of 35th. This potent ability is quite exhausting to use;, each time it is activated, the stormsinger uses four of her bardic music uses for the day.
There it is. If you focus on a melee SSin, expect a DC of 23–24. If you go full CHA caster type, it could easily be 30 DC.

Thanks, Steve! I forgot that bit, strangely. Was also wondering whether any magic feats affect the DC, but assume not based on you not mentioning them.
