Oh it's always been a 'fun' The mechanics are interesting and the core game play is engaging, it looks good (imo) and sledom gets boring while still under a very repetetive moment-to-moment, even though it tries a little to hard to be a competitive league of e-sports.
The problem wasn't that the game wasn't fun, it that it was simply unplayable.
Aside from Ubisoft's really bad communications with the game's player base and the biggest lie called the faction war balance. It was the P2P, the disconnects and the toxicity that ensued from all of those were from the worst iv'e encountered.
We would start playing knowing that 7/10 matches are either going to disconnect while loading or in lobby, or kick one or two of us out. We started playing 'trying to log into a match'
