It's horrendously fun right now, imo! I play for honor pretty often with my fwendz.
Oh it's always been a 'fun' The mechanics are interesting and the core game play is engaging, it looks good (imo) and sledom gets boring while still under a very repetetive moment-to-moment, even though it tries a little to hard to be a competitive league of e-sports.
The problem wasn't that the game wasn't fun, it that it was simply unplayable.
Aside from Ubisoft's really bad communications with the game's player base and the biggest lie called the faction war balance. It was the P2P, the disconnects and the toxicity that ensued from all of those were from the worst iv'e encountered.
We would start playing knowing that 7/10 matches are either going to disconnect while loading or in lobby, or kick one or two of us out. We started playing 'trying to log into a match' :violin:

It's not free, but at $3.99 USD, it's pretty close. It's the Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition! Discount ends 5/24 Pacific Time.

I didn't want to pay full price for it back when it released, mostly because I was severely disappointed with the lack of graphics updates (as I have been with most of Beamdog releases) and I already had the diamond edition from GOG. But at 80% off, I figure it's now cheap enough to indulge some nostalgia and peruse some of the other new features.

Still remember having a ton of fun with the single player campaigns, heavy RP persistent worlds, and the toolset! I loved the toolset! It was so intuitive and easy to use, I even made a few modules with it.
