Spontaneous Casting for Wizards

I was wondering if it might be a good idea to make spontaneous casting possible for wizards when concerning those fairly situational RP spells like "Trace teleport", "Analyze portal", etc? Don't bite my head off, just thought it was worth mentioning since rest times can be prettttty lengthy and most mages can't afford to keep a whole lot of RP-only spells.

Trace Teleport can very much be used in PvP situations as well. If you want to be ready at any moment carry scrolls or "waste" a slot... Sorcerer's are spontaneous casters so giving that to Wizards would lesson the benefit of being the other class.

that's very true. I'll just suck it up and get some scrolls for the occasion.
