Lol, but really... I was just curious as to whether or not it could be considered to add in a few birds as familiars for wizards/sorcerers in the future? Maybe a pupper too?

Does it need to fly in order to RP having a bird familiar?
Alternatively, is it possible to re-skin the bat familiar to make it look like a bird?

The model of it would have to be edited, so that the bird flies much higher...

Anyhow... if you are happy with just a bat-resking...
The bat file names are:
C_Bat_CL_Body01.dds <- What I edited to get the above...
C_Bat_CL_Body01_N.dds
C_Bat_CL_Body01_T.dds
You can find them inside your main NWN2 folder, Data, nwn2_Materials.zip
I tried to attach the edited C_Bat_CL_Body01.dds file, but apparently 0 is the maximum. Anyhow, t'was just a 2 minute hatched job anyhow...

There's also a raven model. In friendly Arm Inn, look at the rocks outside near fire. Has a Raven flapping away on it. That model could be extracted and put on the Bat's skeleton.
I'll look into seeing if the creature skeletons are attached. If so, I should be able to rig them.

Right now just getting the bird model fitted properly and also improving it. After can come the textures for the different birds and such.
Picture now shows the improved model, improved it's poly count dramatically and improved the weighting. Also adjusted the model so the body looks more natural in flight.
